Gordon Carver Joins WattThompson as Partner


WattThompson is pleased to announce that Gordon Carver has joined the firm as a partner.  Gordon began his law practice with the Houston firm of Wycoff, Russell, Dunn & Frazier in 1983 as an associate. In 1988 he was made a shareholder of Dunn, Kacal, Adams, Livingston, Pappas & Law, P.C. He remained as a shareholder until 2008, when he joined WattThompson as Of Counsel. His practice focuses on the representation of healthcare providers, including individual physicians and nurses, blood centers, hospitals and specialty surgery centers, and the representation of companies in various commercial disputes and catastrophic injury cases. 

Since the mid-1980’s Gordon has also represented national and multi-national oil and gas exploration and production companies, multinational fuels companies and refineries in litigation raging from faulty well casing pipe cases to alleged H2S exposure cases to contractual claims for indemnity and contribution in catastrophic injury cases.  He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law and has been named as a Texas “Super Lawyer” in Medical Malpractice Defense by Thomson Reuters (published in Texas Monthly); he is an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
